We love digital audio. We've contracted on a number of digital audio projects including the development of custom audio codecs, distributed audio synchronization and compression.

Xj3d Audio

I worked with the Xj3D guys implementing the audio and video portions of the Xj3D web3d viewer. Some notes on that project can be found here.

MSVAD

A while ago, while working on custom audio device driver development, I recorded the necessary steps to get the Microsoft Virtual Audio Device (MSVAD) sample drivers to compile for Windows 2000.

VoiceBox

In 2001-2002, Guy Carpenter was Chief Software Architect at VoiceBox Technologies, a software startup in Kirkland, Washington. Voicebox developed a speech platform to support natural-language voice information retrieval, along with a custom wireless audio I/O device for remote access.
